Studio Policies

Class and Studio Etiquette

Arrival Time: Doors open 15 minutes before the class start time. This allows us to clean and prepare the studio before and after each session.

Late Arrival: Doors close 10 minutes after the class has started to maintain a focused and safe environment. Latecomers will not be admitted, so please plan accordingly.

Phones and Devices: All phones and electronic devices must be turned off or set to silent mode to avoid disruptions during class.

Respect for All: We are committed to fostering a respectful and inclusive environment. Any form of harassment or discrimination will not be tolerated.

Cleanliness: Please help us keep the studio clean by storing your belongings neatly and wiping down shared props after use.

Personal Belongings: Personal belongings should be stored in the designated areas. Full Bodied Yoga PDX is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Accessibility: We strive to accommodate all abilities. If you have specific needs, please contact us in advance so we can ensure your comfort and access.

Health and Wellness

Stay Home: If you are feeling sick or under the weather, please stay home to rest and recover.

Masks: Masks are optional. We support whatever choice makes you feel most comfortable during your practice.

Covid: If you have been exposed to Covid or have any symptoms, please stay home and follow local health guidelines.

Memberships, Payments & Cancellations

Non-Transferable Packages: Memberships and New Student Specials cannot be shared or transferred. These packages are intended for individual use only.

Final Sales: All sales are final unless otherwise noted.

Cancellation Policy: Please respect our cancellation policy by canceling your class via Union or notifying us at least 5 minutes in advance if you cannot attend a class. Late cancellations may incur a fee.

  • We understand that life happens! If you need to cancel your booking, please do so at one (1) hour before the start of class to avoid being charged a late cancellation fee. You can easily manage your bookings through your Union account or email hello@fullbodiedyogapdx.com

  • We encourage you to pre-register online to guarantee your spot and make check-in a breeze.

  • At Full Bodied Yoga, you can expect a warm welcome and a supportive atmosphere from the moment you step through our doors. Whether you're new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, we offer a diverse range of classes, so there is something for everyone.

  • Wear comfy clothing that allows you to move freely. Bring your own mat (we have a handful to borrow) and anything else you need to support your practice (water bottles, towels, etc.).

  • Our classes are designed to be accessible and inclusive. Our experienced teachers Our teachers teach to the bodies in front of them and know how to accommodate all levels and abilities. If you have specific concerns or questions, feel free to reach out to us—we're here to support you and can direct you to specific classes and teachers.

  • Yes! Full Bodied Yoga is proud to be an intersectional feminist community that welcomes and celebrates individuals of all genders, sexual orientations, and identities. We strive to create an inclusive and affirming space where everyone feels seen, valued, and empowered.

  • Coined in 1989 by American law professor and civil rights activist, Kimberlé Crenshaw, intersectional feminism is a movement that recognizes how different factors of discrimination can affect someone's life at an intersection (such as race, class, gender, age, ethnicity, and religion) can effect someone's life at an intersection. It focuses on understanding how different forms of inequality often operate together and exacerbate each other. And it centers the voices of those experiencing overlapping forms of oppression.

  • Most of our classes are suitable for pregnant individuals with an existing practice. We recommend informing the teacher before class so they can offer appropriate support. It is highly encouraged to consult with your healthcare provider along the way. Physical changes to your body might mean physical changes to your practice and we are here to assist with this special time in your life.
